eBRT2030 presents international activities at Africa e-mobility Forum in Dakar

From 13-17 May, the SOLUTIONSplus project organised the second edition of the Africa e-mobility Forum in Dakar, Senegal in partnership with CETUD. The event brought together 50 key stakeholders from 20 cities in the continent working on the transition to electric mobility in the region, and eBRT2030 was present to highlight its activities on the continent.

In combination with the Forum, the UITP Academy organised its in-person training programme on Procurement, Planning & Funding of Electric Buses giving a comprehensive overview on how to procure, plan and fund electric buses. The eBRT2030 project joined the Forum and presented the outcomes of the project so far, with an overview of the future activities in Africa.

The international replication demonstration cluster of the project will build on the European demonstrations and co-develop innovative EBRT solutions with cities, operators and entrepreneurs in dynamic e-bus markets in Latin America and Africa. The activities are in synergies with other EU-funded projects (Sol+), partnerships and UITP’s regional offices to foster international cooperation and capacity building in these countries.
