Open call for cities: Join the Future of Urban Mobility with eBRT2030

The eBRT2030 project is now looking for five follower/twinning cities to develop a feasibility study which aims to evaluate the deployment of next generation eBRT systems.

What does it mean to become a follower/twinning city?

Joining eBRT2030 is an opportunity to shape the future of sustainable urban transport by engaging in collaborative research and knowledge exchange with leading European cities and mobility experts. Taking part in the study and becoming a follower/twinning city is a chance to be part of key stakeholders in the eBRT network.

The selected cities will have the chance to assess the feasibility, impact and benefits of eBRT innovations within their own urban environment, leveraging cutting-edge methodologies, digital twin simulations, and AI-based predictive models. The feasibility study will be tailored on the specific local needs with a dedicated budget available.

The final outcome will be a feasibility study for all the selected cities for future EBRT systems, and will aim for them to initiate a proper replication plan based upon one or more of the main eBRT innovations. The feasibility study will focus on technical, operational, service, social, and economic aspects addressing cities’ needs for future sustainable deployment of EBRT innovations.

What are the benefits?

The benefits to joining eBRT2030 include:

Knowledge Transfer & Best Practices: Access to the latest advancements in eBRT technology, planning, and operational strategies.

Feasibility Studies: Technical assessments tailored to the city’s needs, evaluating the potential deployment of eBRT systems.

Networking & Collaboration: Engage with European cities, industry experts, and research institutions.

Capacity Building: Training workshops, technical support, and exposure to real-world eBRT demonstrations in European pilot cities.

Strategic Urban Mobility Planning: Receive guidance on integrating eBRT innovations into existing and future transport plans.
