Last month eBRT2030 stopped in demo city Prague for eBus:conference, organised by project partner Trolley:motion. The event focused on zero-emission bus systems as the backbone of climate-neutral cities and had an entire session dedicated just to the eBRT2030 project.
The conference, which gathered other EU-funded projects, was a key opportunity to not just promote the project, but connect with other projects and stakeholders. The eBRT2030 project was presented and in the session the other guest speakers discussed the international BRT experiences from Mexico and San Francisco to provide a global outlook and foster synergies at international level.
New brochure on new DPP trolleybus line in Prague
The event was also a chance to showcase the work done in Prague to inaugurate line 59 in March 2024. The electrified trolleybus line stretches for five kilometres, connecting the airport to Veleslavín Railway Station and is operated by project partner Dopravní podnik hl. m. Prahy (DPP).
A brochure developed by DPP outlines the process for developing the line and more specifics on the technology used. Check it out below to see how this impressive project came to life.
